ksResizer Vs. 1.6 - Updated 12/8/2006.
What's ksResizer?
It's an image resizing program that is packed with features. You can resize images, create thumbnails, rotate, change the dpi,
add borders, add shadows, round the corners, change the compression ratio, and much more! This is shareware so please
register if you use it. It helps support my efforts.
I welcome your feedback.
This runs on Windows platforms (ie: Windows 95, 98, NT, ME, Win2k, XP or later).
- Resize images.
- Rotate images.
- Convert image formats (to and from: jpg, gif, tiff, bmp, jpg2000, raw, pcx, png, etc). You can also add prefixes and/or suffixes to the filenames.
- Create thumbnails.
- Image compression.
- Color and black-and-white conversions.
- Sharpen images.
- Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation.
- Add text to images and change the transparency (great for © copyright symbols and watermarking images).
- Add shadows, borders and round the corners of images.
- All settings can now be saved/restored from text files. Loading the settings is only available for registered users.
- File overwrite warning message has been removed and files that could be overwritten are now appended with an underscore and an incremental number.
Features are accessed via the tabs at the top of the main window. To
start, choose your file locations, choose any additional options, then click
the Start button (file locations tab).
What's New:
Version 1.6:
- Adjust brightness, contrast and saturation.
- Sharpen images.
- You can load/save the settings so if you have various projects with different image manipulations, you can now save/restore various settings. The
settings are simply store in a ini (text) file of your naming preference and location.
- File overwrite warning message has been removed and files that could be overwritten are now appended with an underscore and an incremental number.
- Fix: now you can add rounded corners without the drop shadow.
- Added TIFF ZIP compression option.
- Other misc. improvements.

- Misc. bug fixes.
- Tray icon removed and the program now simply resides in the task bar. I may add the option later to optionally hide to system tray.
- Improvements in feedback during image processing.

- New suffix option. You can now specify a suffix to add to the file names.

- New rotate options. You can now rotate to any degree (+/-) rotation.
- Improvements in feedback during image processing.
